The purpose of LM1 OUTREACH & EVANGELISM Ministry is to provide a safe environment for people to experience La Mirada First Church of the Nazarene’s (LM1) Christ-Centered, Spirit-filled Church; where the brokenhearted find healing, the hopeless find hope, individuals discover a purpose for living and finding their faith in Christ. Through relevant events, seminars/trainings and local outreach/community services, LM1 offers a safe environment for people to build trust with our congregation and provide great opportunities for our team to invite their friends and family. These events can start conversations about LM1 and most importantly, about Jesus Christ.
Top Priorities for Events Includes:
- Family movie nights (e.g. 3rd Friday of the month)
- Yahweh A Night of Worship (Held at Mark or Vinny’s house)
- Good Friday Service
- Resurrection Sunday Service
- Eggstravaganza (Saturday Kids Easter Egg Hunt/BBQ Prior to Sunday Service)
- Summer Worship Night (June or July)
- Fall Trunk or Treat (Halloween or weekend before)
- Thanksgiving Baskets (Law Enforcement, Firefighters)
- Christmas Caroling
- Christmas Service (Day and Night)
